We have done so many fun activities this fall, and it is so fun seeing Madeline experience new things. She is starting to recognize and say different animal sounds, so took her to the Wheeler Farm with her favorite friends Lola and Adelaide. We were able to watch a cow being milked and then given an opportunity to milk it ourselves. Maddy was a little tentative in getting close to the cow, but eventually reached her hand out to touch it. She wasn't quite ready to get that close to the cow to milk it - she is so funny. Such an independent girl, but she doesn't like it when she can't control the situation - so lets just say she wasn't the biggest fan of the farm and animals that were way bigger than her. But I'll give it a little bit, and I'm sure she'll love it again!
A little too close for comfort!
The cow's not so scary when mommy touches her!
Another fun day she had was playing in the leaves with daddy. She had never sat in the them before, so of course she had to look at the leaves, and then slowly start to touch them. Once she discovered they were fun to sit in, she kept digging in the leaves and then found a stick that she put in her mouth. Yes, still loving putting everything in her mouth! So that ended the playing in the leaves session!
